CQtober 2024 - Day 3, Straight Feather Stitch
#CQtober2024 Hallelujah! I was finally able to get a video uploaded for today's seam! You can watch it HERE! What a journey it has been this week trying to figure out what was going wrong. I never did figure it out, but I did delete the program and then reinstalled it. Prayers that it continues to work! Today's stitch is Straight Feather Stitch. One of my favorites! For supplies, I used two colors of Valdani Perle Cotton in a size 12 and one in a size 8. I did use a larger needle for the size 8 thread. I stitched the straight feather stitch in an orange variegated, then added straight stitch triads to the ends. At first I tried pistol stitches in-between the straight stitches, but I wasn't happy with how it looked, so I stitched twisted lazy daisies instead that sat in-between the "feathers" and triads.
