Crazy Quilted Christmas Tree - Snowflake Seam
Wool CQ Xmas Tree Episode #3 I started this Christmas tree with the purchase of a kit from Quilter's Station in Lee's Summit, Missouri, back in 2014 0r 2015. It was fairly primitive, but I loved it! I pieced the wool, changing a few fabrics that were a bit too muted for my liking to something a bit brighter or clearing in color. The accompanying embellishments were rusty jingle bells and a star. I had added some old gold star buttons that I thought I'd add. The stitching patterns were printed on one of those sticky sheets that you stitch through and than use water to dissolve. I really hate stitching through that stuff! And truthfully, the seams they had didn't inspire me much. So it languished in my unfinished project bin for years.
